JAKE'S Corner Motel

After driving west through Sioux Falls and only finding hotels that were either booked solid, bad reviews, wouldn't accommodate our large family in one room, or cost an outrageous amount of money... we found Jake's Corner Motel. John and Kim are great, easy check-in, and so happy they would allow us and our kids to stay in 1 room together! Great price and clean room. Wonderful, low-key spot. Thanks!

Really nice motel. The rooms are really clean and the service was amazing. There is another common room off to the side that has a vending machine a coffee bar a pizza cooker (you get the pizza you get at the gas station) there is also board games and books.

A solid 5 star rating for this 2 star motel. Clean room, great bed and a old but working A/C unit. Shag rugs, old trailer vibe with new cement pad out front to keep the dirt from being tracked in. This is also a quiet little town just off the highway. Kim was great to deal with, I'd certainly recommend this to others. This price was high, but in this area it was understandable. I believe you could call this wheel chair accessible, there's only bump getting through the threshold of the door; no stairs and you can park right outside your door. Inside the room is another story, as the bathroom is small, so can't fit a wheelchair.

Super clean rooms, all of us, even our 300+ pound men, slept comfortably. Kim, the owner of both the ten room motel and gas station, took great care of us . Her fresh baked, real yeast bread, cinnamon rolls were excellent as was the coffee. We would make the 200 yards off the freeway detour just for her baked goods. While it was a quaint old west model older motel style and the carpet was old, the room was clean, comfortable and great for our traveling group. Definitely would stay again. Great value!

Amazing experience, stayed for 3 days and Kim was amazing and super easy to deal with, had to check out an hour late and they had no problem with it. Quiet area not your typical motel experience would recommend if you are stopping by. Only recommendation would be softer mattress and bigger TV but for 2 star it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had

This place is nothing short of awesome. Rooms, towels and bedding are spotless. The owners are so nice and helpful. I'm on the road about 250 nights a year and it ranks right up there with the best. I will drive out of my way to stay again. Thank you very much and keep up the great work.

Room was spotless, air conditioner was nice and cold (and turned on before I checked in so my room was comfortable), shower pressure was great and it's hard to beat the price! Owners were very helpful and Kim even texted me restaurant recommendations! If you're driving across South Dakota to see the badlands, Mt. Rushmore etc, this is a great place to stop - it's affordable, quiet, and clean and it's really nice to support small, independently-owned businesses and small towns rather than paying $125 to a Best Western that's next to the highway, ya know?

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, and it’s a cute little town!! Owner was very kind a communicative about check in/out and recommendations in the area :)
